Masterclasses 2021

Message from the President:

Dear teachers, parents, students and our community of friends of Musicfest Northwest,  In lieu of the traditional Musicfest Festival for 2021, the Musicfest Board of Trustees has created a series of Master Classes from the week of May 10 thru the 14th. Musicfest Northwest has invited highly respected Master Clinicians that you have come to know and expect from Musicfest Northwest for these classes. These Musical Masters bring their advanced insight andtheir respected talents to the students of these classes in hope of providing a highly enriching and educational experience which will carry over for the students as they move forward with their musical education and careers. You can view these Masters and their backgrounds on this website.

Although the Board of Trustees understands that not all the student participants of MusicfestFestival are able to participate in the master classes, the Board of Trustees is excited to bring something educational to as many of the students as possible and that it may excite and remind them of the importance of their educational efforts and their contribution to the world of classical music and all music for that matter!

Musicfest Northwest remains steadfastly committed to celebrating all musicians and their art.We also remain fully committed to the seasoned and successful Musicfest Festival format and we will be ready and fully prepared for the 2022 festival season.
We would like to remind everyone that the master classes are not open to the public but all individual performances and their master teaching will be professionally recorded and edited and many will be put onto our YouTube channel for everyone’s enjoyment. We ask that youplease tune into these videos when posted and hit the “Like” and “Follow” button which will help us to highlight and share these wonderful performances by our MusicFest participants.

The Board of Trustees wishes to thank each and every one of you for your continued support in our endeavor to bring our love of the classics and our mission to all students near and far. Please stay tuned to our website and Facebook for additional announcements through the year.
